** I still have more vacation pictures to post of Rome, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, but I need to get caught up with regular pictures for now. I hate being so far behind on my blog, so this week I am going to work hard at getting caught up.**
Saturday is my favorite day of the week. I wish Stephen didn't have to work some Saturdays, but still I love them! If we don't have anything planned on a Saturday, I love to think about what we will do all week. Sometimes we go places like the Children's Museum, etc. and sometime we just stay at home.
This Saturday was a combination of staying at home and going somewhere, which is the best of both worlds!
Stephen went to work that morning, but would be home around 1:30. After breakfast, Stephen and I went out to play in the front yard.
I was getting the settings right on my camera and Stephen came over to see what I was doing.

This boy is always smiling and laughing!

He has a fake set of keys that he brought outside and went to the front door to unlock it.

Ok, WHOA! Can you please stop growing, your not even two yet!!
But look at this baby face. Those chubby cheeks just melt me!

Then he went for a ride in his truck. I was trying to get him to look at me and smile, but this is all I could get.

Then he stuck his head out of the side of the truck and said "cheese". He keeps us laughing!

You have to be quick with him! About 1/3 of my pictures are with his eyes closed. This picture would be perfect if his eyes were open!

He got up and started rummaging through the back of his truck and then brought me something.

A little leaf.

Then he did some off roading.

Time for some sidewalk chalk!

He went down for a nap, but didn't want me to cover him with his blanket. After he had been asleep for awhile I looked at the monitor and say he had covered himself up. He looked so sweet!

Disclaimer for anyone worried about his foot being stuck: We took his bumpers out when he started sleeping in his crib at 2 months old, they just made me too nervous. Since then he has only gotten a limb stuck ONCE.
Stephen got home from work and after Stephen woke up from his nap we went to see Annette and Jim since we hadn't seen them since we had been back from vacation. We met them at their house and then drove out to see the lake house. They are building a house on Lake Conroe.
Here is the house:

This is the view from the back porch. Not bad, huh?

The boat docks. They have two since they bought two lots.

Stephen loved walking through the walls.

It may not seem like it in these pictures, but we were extremely cautious with Stephen. He was holding our hands the majority of the time and we were always watching what he was touching, etc.

Annette and Jim in their living room.

Stephen at the front door.

We walked down the street to look at another house being built and when we were walking back, Stephen was racing Papaw.

It was gorgeous day as you can see from these pictures, but it was hotter than hot! And standing on all the concrete did not help!
We can't wait for the house to be built and spend some time on the lake next summer!
